run crashed with DBusException in call_blocking()

Binary package hint: checkbox

Since i upgraded to KDE 4.1 from 3.5 with hardy kubuntu today i am having numerous problems .
I tried to run system checking and it crashed .
I can only login in default now not in failsafe or kde .
Im a complete noob and really wish i had not hit the upgrade button .
