Bug Description

Binary package hint: celestia

Using the "classic" desktop in Ubuntu: Clicking a menu in Celestia causes the menu to flicker on only briefly.

The application is mostly useless because nothing can be selected in any of the menus.

Any modals or dialogs do not display properly, they only flicker spasmodically .

Ah, I figured out how to work around this bug. Menus will work again if you disable the window manager's compositing.
