Binary package hint: celestia
The current version of Celestia displays graphical glitches (see attached image) in all rendering modes. They are of various types (the attached is with Multitexture mode), but none of them look quite right. I think the problem is with either the Intel drivers (I have an Intel GMA 4500MHD chip) or MESA, or some combination of the two... This problem is new with Kubuntu Karmic; Multitexture mode worked properly on Kubuntu Jaunty.
