celestia crashes when travelling back in time

Whenever I try to travel back in time in celestia, I am unable as the program crashes.

Official support for Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" has ended. I am unable to reproduce this on Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr". Are you still experiencing this issue on a supported version of Ubuntu?
