Debian already has packages for alarms:

ceilometer-alarm-evaluator
ceilometer-alarm-notifier

http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/ceilometer

Do you plan to add this packages for Ubuntu?

in the cloud-archive packages the two mentioned above

ceilometer-alarm-evaluator
ceilometer-alarm-notifier

are a part of the ceilometer-common package, BUT there are no upstart scripts for these two services

Can the init scripts to start the ceilometer-alarm-* services be included in the havana cloud-archive packages also?

patch using the upstart files from trusty for ceilometer-alarm-* but keeping the ceilometer-alarm-* services in ceilometer-common for compatibility
