Bug Description

cegui is affected by this bug:
https://bitbucket.org/cegui/cegui/issues/1063/openglrenderer-on-linux-renders-cegui

Fix is in repository, please backport or upgrade.

This affects all that have older than version 0.8.5 of cegui.

I'm running Linux Mint 18 that based on Ubuntu 16.04.

cegui packages are from Ubuntu, version 0.8.4+dfsg-4ubuntu1

Attached is image that shows how this bug does not happen on Lubuntu 16.10 that is based on Ubuntu 16.10. Lubuntu is installed from daily iso snapshot 2016-07-31.

I'm using this laptop with 8GB RAM:

It has Intel graphics:

Yakkety now has version 0.8.7. Is anyone still seeing this bug on that version?

There is no bug on Yakkety when I tested.

There is bug on older Ubuntu when I tested, because of older cegui.

Ok, I'll see if we can backport the new version to Xenial. Xenial is an LTS so it needs to have a properly-functioning package.

I believe that this bug is no longer present in any current version of Ubuntu. Therefore, closing.
