Install Ubuntu 12.04.2 and the screen brightness is very dark. The brightness controls do not work. No way to turn up the screen brightness. My laptop comes with Ubuntu 12.04 preload but could not rescue the system. Previously used proprietary drivers Intel GMA 500 ​​and Intel Cedarview.
