Cecilia always crashes during rendering

Cecilia always crashes within a few seconds of starting any rendering job. The messages at the terminal vary greatly, but more than half are along the lines of:

Workaround: Install the Windows version using Wine. It's still very buggy but it's usable. I've installed Cecilia5, but it might be worth trying Cecilia4 instead.
