o Click on "Applications", choose "Sound & Video" and click on "Brasero"

At Brasero
o Click on the button [Burn image]

At the "Image Burning Setup"-dialog
o Click on the button [Click here to select a disc image]

At the "Select Disc Image"-dialog
o Click on "Desktop" (area "Places")
o Click on the iso-file (my example is "systemrescuecd-x86-1.2.3.iso")
o Click on the button [Open]

At the "Image Burning Setup"-dialog
o Click on the button [Burn]

If the "Brasero - Burning CD"-dialog displaying the status "Starting to record"
then the following erro message is displayed:

An unknown error occurred.
----

The "unknown error log" includes a hint that "wodim", a fork
from cdrecor with many well known bugs aborted.

Happens to me too. Was trying to burn a Ubuntu Lucid cd and I got this. It has the files, but it won't boot. Lucid LTS, Brasero 2.30.1
