Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

I'm using Jaunty 9.04 with brasero 2.26.1-0ubuntu1

Select to copy a CD and select disk image output and then select 'cue' as the output type. The copy goes OK (and obviously outputs to a temp 'toc' image) but when it tries to convert the 'toc' image to a 'cue' it crashes.

Why do you like to have a CUE file?

brasero seems to call "cdrdao" and cdrdao is known for
not correctly supporting CUE files.

cdrtools on the other side do support CUE files but they do not
create them..... cdda2wav creates *.inf files that are better suited
for cdrecord.

Note in any case that the fork "cdrkit/wodim" does not correctly
support CUE files and needs to be avoided. Use the official software
from:

cdrecord.berlios.de

I was making an image of one of my old PSX cds for using on an emulator which seemed to only read CUE/BIN files.

However I thought that it at least looks bad to have an option which crashes brasero, especially when it's a reasonable thing to be selecting.

affects: brasero (Ubuntu) → cdrkit (Ubuntu)
