Burning an iso file ends up with an error message

Bug Description
Binary package hint: brasero
1) Ubuntu 9.04
2) brasero 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
3) I was trying to burn an .iso file created by DeVeDe onto a standard DVD-R disc
4) Brasero burned about 50%, then the progress bar was "resetted" to 0%, but Brasero continued burning. After some minutes, I got an error message saying that the burning process failed.

There are several reports that brasero is not large file clean.
Is this a result os missung large file support or is this a result
of incorrect compilarion?
BTW: Note that "cdrkit" is not large file clean. If you like to
write large files make sure to use the original software from:
ftp://ftp. berlios. de/pub/ cdrecord/ alpha/
