Bug Description

Hi folks,

I bought a new computer (AMD 64 X2) with two optical drives

LITE-ON DVD SOHD-16P9S
TSSTcorpCD/DVDW SH-S182D

and installed feity wich is up to date.

Its' impossible to copy a data CD, from one drive to the other or on the same drive. Allway an error like this occured:

Read speed: 7056 kB/s (CD 40x, DVD 5x).
Write speed: 8468 kB/s (CD 48x, DVD 6x).
Capacity: 246690 Blocks = 493380 kBytes = 481 MBytes = 505 prMB

cmd finished after 6.141s timeout 40s
readom: Success. Cannot read source disk
readom: Retrying from sector 246656.
.................................

I thinks it's unlikely that on a new computer both drives are defective.

From reading postings and bug reports it seems to me a widely know bug and i would apreciate to check it.

Greetings
