Bug Description
Binary package hint: catfish
Not sure whether to report this for xubuntu-
Catfish' default directory to search is /usr/share/catfish, and the change is negligible that the user wants to find something there. It is especially confusing for users not familiar with the directory structure.
Therefore, it'd be a lot more logical if this was set to be the user's home directory.

I can confirm that the default directory is indeed /usr/share/catfish. This is a new installation of Xubuntu 8.04.1, installed all updates, then upgraded to Xubuntu 8.10 using "update-manager -d -c".
Thank you for reporting this bug.
