installation lucid lynx crash on installation

Bug Description

I've installed Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx but when the installation was ended,
to successive restart the computer crash with some of the error messages on the monitor

One other information:

during the start of the system from cd the pc was very very slow and in order to arrive to the shielded one of installation it has put beyond 10 minutes.
the installation has been made on the entire hard disk.

thanks of the suggestions,
I will always try to characterize the right package, but now I'm not sure which is the right package.
still the computer on which I was installing ubuntu is not restarted again

I have reinstalled the system with manual partitioning and now the system works perfectly
