[intrepid] Live CD cannot mount - panic Unable to find a medium containing a live file system

Iam trying to install intrepid ibex 8.10 on my pc.But it fails to load.

I tried adding pci=nomsi(whatever that does) to boot options and it worked once.Right now i have intrepid installed but i am trying to reinstall it but this time the parameters dont work

Seems like it cant find the cd drive properly after the initial boot from cd option and harddisk light keeps glowing some time and then drops to busybox.

I have a seagate SATA harddisk and ide cd rom.

Hello.

Iam surprised that this bug has been commented on.Its a year old.

But luckily i still have the intrepid cd with me , and i managed to get casper and dmesg files .

This is where my problems with cd drive started , and you will remember my karmic bug of a similar nature.
