Bug Description
Cosmic Desktop 20181003
After installation the message to remove the installation media and reboot is not always displayed. Instead there is a black page with a blinking cursor on the top left. The message can be displayed by pressing alt-right_arrow 5 times.
On a UEFI installation, even if the text message is displayed, the user cannot reboot and have to switch to the purple page to actually be able to reboot.

Well there are two types of messages......
.... if it is a pretty one, it will able to reboot
.... if it is the ugly one, it tells the user to reboot - meaning manual hard reset.
.... if there is no message, that's bad.
I'm curious what needs to be done, when no message is shown? bios or uefi boot? straight to installation or try-ubuntu first?
