Bug Description

This happens in Feisty as well. The Ubuntu live CD does not show the correct time. After the install, the time is correct, but not while running from the live CD. I am sure that everyone can confirm this.

Is the time on your system, in the BIOS, set to UTC or your local timezone? I believe the Live CD expects your BIOS to be set to UTC.

I am installing Gutsy Beta 1 right now, my BIOS time is set to CEST, and the installer reported the right time at the time zone step.

This is bound to happen on some systems. Short of forcing an NTP sync (impossible without network access) I'm not sure how much we can do about it.
