MX4 Focus is slower than advertised

Bug Description
There are some focus issues on the MX4 device. The sales documentation (attached) states focus can be achieved in 0.3 seconds when in practice it takes several seconds for the preview to gain focus.
When an image is taken the resulting image seems to get post processed reducing the focus and crispness. This is visually seen by a wipe animation onscreen as the images becomes blurry.
Please advise if there are any logs or furthur information I can provide. Its a shame we are not making the most of this incredible image sensor.

Sales documentation is probably optimistic. Not sure how they achieve that. It would be nice to see what is achieved with Android on the same device.
