Add description to photos

Under editing there should be an option to create a description for the photo. This option shoud than be saved in the EXIF-data.

For me it would be usefull when taking a photo for work issues where there is a lot of similiar photos. Right now I have no way to remember which photo is which. On a normal camera I would note the filename, on the phone I can't. But making a descripton would anyway be the better way.

Nice feature request.
Although I think this belongs int he gallery app. Camera-app only takes the photos.
But the gallery app should also show us image info like file name, EXIF data (resolution,...), etc., which would also solve your problem.

Maybe the notes app would work for you. It allows you to have notes with images.

I submitted Bug #1520526 to request metadata view in Gallery. My intention there was for it to be read-only, not to allow for editing metadata after the fact.

I think adding a description immediately on taking a photo is a great idea. Anything which involves switching apps would lose the spontaneity of the moment. I'd love to see this implemented in the camera directly.
