[Nexus 10/Manta] Long videos (>5 minutes) return corrupted file

Bug Description

I'm using Nexus10 and today's phablet image.

I wanted to make a 5 minute video recording. Everything seems to go ok, until I hit the stop recording button. The camera app appears to freeze. The "mediaserver" process continues processing in the background. Waiting for this to complete (>5 minutes again), I get a file in the Videos directory, but when I try to play it on my laptop I get:

VLC media player 2.0.8 Twoflower (revision 2.0.8a-0-g68cf50b)
[0x2229048] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.

[0x7f8aa4c01ad8] avformat demux error: Could not open /home/gerry/Videos/video20130902_0001.mp4: Unknown error 1094995529

Works fine for quick videos (<1 minute anyway).

Device has plenty of available disk space.

No idea what causes that.
But as a work around the max file size and/or max duration could be set to avoid corrupted videos (would need support for it in hybris as well).

An update, tried this again with today's vivid on manta. Recorded a video for 6 minutes, when I hit stop, device locked up and rebooted. When trying to view the resulting file in preview, it was corrupt, and playing it caused device to reboot again.

Cannot reproduce that bug on krillin with vivid.
