Bug Description

Reproduce:

1. Start Krita
2. Create a new document.
3. Move the mouse pointer around over the document.

Result:

Krita CPU usage on a quad core system immediately hits 300% and X uses a further 30%.

Impact:

Actually attempting to paint something is almost impossible because the mouse pointer lags by about a second.
