Bug Description

On an Android, new events were entered into v.5.1.2 of this 3rd-party calendar app:

  https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.simplemobiletools.calendar.pro/

Events contained a Title ("Summary" field), Location, and Description. The events were exported to an ICS file and pulled using adb. Inspection confirmed that all the data made it into the ICS file. The ICS file was then imported into calcurse. Only the Title field and times survived the import.

I thought perhaps calcurse simply is not showing the data. So as a test the records were then re-exported as an ical file. Indeed the LOCATION and DESCRIPTION fields are missing. When the ical file is re-imported into Simple Calendar Pro, the records are duplicated but obviously with the lost data.

It's unclear how Simple Calendar Pro guards against duplication (if at all), but it's likely using the UID field. UID is also a field that the original records contained but calcurse lost, so there is little hope of avoiding dupes when reimporting records.
