Bug Description
Failed to create a partition table - install failed -
Install using Calamares (entire disk) in Lubuntu Desktop amd64 in Focal Daily
following error received whne trying to install Focal daily build 20191103 entire disk on Acer E3-111 which had Lubuntu 19.10 installed. This error occurred when I selected "Erase Disk".
The error read as follows:
Installation Failed
The installer failed to create a partition table on TOSHIBA MQ01ABF050.
Create a new partition table (type:msdos) on /dev/sda
Job:create new partition table on device /dev/sda
Command:sfdisk /dev/sda
After a reboot I selected the option "replace a partition" and the install worked just fine with no problems.
I then tried a second time (after reboot) to install by selecting "Erase disk" and the install failed again with same error.
