lubuntu fails to install on real hardware uefi

Bug Description
To reproduce install on real hardware install booting from a usb I created with dd. I tried the autoresize like http://

I expected an install to finish of lubuntu 18.10 instead I did not get an installation and took a really long time and never showed and progresss beyond partitioning this large hard drive in the GUI.

We are working with the same problem. I think Simon Quigley will mark two of them as duplicates, but it may be useful to have them all (two as duplicates) in order to know the hardware tested.
