Bug Description

Kubuntu plucky OEM install restarts to white screen instead of end user setup
Verion 25.04.27

Reboot again returns to white screen, as does logging into a tty as the oem user and restarting sddm.service

In case someone wonders, the upgrader removes kubuntu-desktop and the fix is to install kubuntu-desktop after the update.

This is an issue on a fresh ISO install, so nothing to do with upgrade or the upgrader.

Sorry, my bad.
I faced https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2105900 and wrongly assumed it is the same scenario because the symptoms are similar (white login screen).
Were you able to find a way to fix the white login screen, and if yes how?

This doesn't seem to occur on the Resolute daily image \o/
