Bug Description

I have some samba shares set up on an Ubuntu server 18.04.1 machine and I have them set to automatically mount in my /etc/fstab file on my separate Ubuntu MATE 18.04.1 machine. For some reason if I browse to the share in Caja and right click a file and click "properties" Caja consistently crashes. All other file operations seem to work fine. I can create/open/rename/modify/delete files with no issue, but I can't view properties without Caja crashing. If I mount the shares using the "file" > "connect to server" option in Caja it does work and I can view the properties with out Caja crashing. I can also successfully view the properties for locally attached external drives that are listed in /etc/fstab. The problem only seems to appear in samba shares that are mounted via the fstab file.

If it's helpful, an example of an entry I used in the fstab file to mount samba shares is this:
//192.168.0.95/example_share /media/travis/example_share cifs uid=travis,gid=travis,username=user,password=password,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777 0 0

I have this identical issue. I can't paste a file into a cifs share with Caja, and if I right click and choose "Properties" Caja crashes.

If given instructions I will forward whatever debugging information that you need.

Same behaviour with the original bug description mounting via autofs a network nas

/mnt/xxxxx -fstype=cifs,rw,credentials=/home/xxxx/.cifspwd,nodfs,iocharset=utf8,uid=1000,gid=1000,file_mode=0700,dir_mode=0700 ://169.254.43.186/prosgr

works fine connecting via smb or afp using the "file" > "connect to server" option in Caja
