Caja freezes and stops responging when unmounting volume

Bug Description
Since I upgraded to Ubuntu Mate 17.10 I have problem with umounting some USB drives via Caja. (especially after I write on them)
When I click the eject button next to drive label, Caja instantly freezes and doesn´t respond. Then the window to terminate Caje shows.
Neither the pop-up notifications about whether the drive can be disconnected safely or can´t don´t show up like they did in 17.04.
