Bug Description

Trying to get caja-share working I completely uninstalled it and samba and reinstalled caja-share and dependencies. Now sharing doesn't at all. I get error:

'net usershare' returned error 255: mkdir failed on directory /var/run/samba/msg.lock: Permission denied
net usershare: cannot open usershare directory /var/lib/samba/usershares. Error No such file or directory
Please ask your system administrator to enable user sharing.

This is fixed by installing samba package.

I tried to submit this under caja-share but launchpad doesn't believe that it exists.

"caja-share" does not exist in Ubuntu. Please choose a different package. If you're unsure, please select "I don't know"

Same for me on a brand new Ubuntu Mate 16.10 installation. Caja-share only relies on samba-common-bin but it looks like the samba package is needed to manage usershares.

Still not fixed in 18.04?

Installed caja-share after a minimal install of 18.04 LTS. Did not work without also installing samba.

Done tests of 16.04 LTS, 18.04 LTS and 20.04 LTS.

In all these versions bug is fixable by manual Samba installation with

```
sudo apt-get install samba
```

then reboot. After reboot one can create and setup network share from Caja.
