Bug Description

suggests python-gpgme package that is obsolete according:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pygpgme/+publishinghistory

and according to debian bug:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=876844
the successor is python-gpg package.

but 'python-gpg' does not satisfy the dependency, since the dropbox installer still warns:
"Note: python-gpgme is not installed, we will not be able to verify binary signatures."

steps to reproduce on ubuntu 18.04:
1. $ sudo apt install nautilus-dropbox python-gpg
2. $ /usr/bin/dropbox update
3. see the gui 'Dropbox Installation' window

This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

=======================

Should nautilus-dropbox and warsaw be updated to reference the newer python-gpg package or should the reference to the older python-gpgme package had worked anyways on 18.04?

I have the same problem as Desnesn (in #2). Found a workaround that can be applied while Ubuntu team and the packages developers don't solve the deadlock.
Just install the python-gpgme package for Artful that can be downloaded at "https://www.ubuntuupdates.org/package/core/artful/main/base/python-gpgme"
install it before install the problematic package.
This workaround was suggested by the support team of Warsaw developers. Can be seen at

What do I need to do to obtain the released fix? Just running `sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade` isn't enough...
