Bug Description
I have a single page PDF file that cannot be printed with Evince. The printer light flashes 1-2 minutes and then returns to the ready state without printing anything. I see that the pdftops uses 100% cpu and continues to do so even if I cancel my job (I have to do a sudo kill). The same PDF file prints correctly in Acrobat Reader (but takes some time to print).
Also, I if I use the pdftops command in a terminal, I get very quickly a correct PS file. This PS file prints as it should in Evince. This is why I suspect Cairo but I'm not sure. Other (more complex) pdf files print correctly (jpeg photos in EOG also), so it's a bit strange.
The document contains some graphics elements (green circles) that aren't rendered 100% correctly when the PDF is opened in Evince. However if I ask for a print preview in Evince, the rendering is correct.
Maverick (Linux Mint 10 Julia) (updated today)
libcairo2 1.10.0-1ubuntu3
HP laserjet 2605dn (with the 2605 postscipt ppd)
This may be a duplicate of bug 680628 since I see that same behaviour with the pdf file submitted with this bug.
