Hi,

as seen here

installing cairo dock brings :

paxem@paxem:~$ echo; ls -lt /usr/share/xsessions | awk '{print $6, $7, $8, $9}'

avril 7 21:07 ubuntu.desktop
avril 7 21:07 ubuntu-xorg.desktop
janv. 2 2021 cairo-dock-compiz.desktop
janv. 2 2021 cairo-dock-metacity.desktop
paxem@paxem:~$

those sessions are broken for years in ×buntu.
