Bug Description

i have assigned the super_l key to the applications menu in cairo dock. i noticed the option said that it would allow the super key to show or hide the app menu. however it only seems to show it, i need to manually click off the application menu in order to clear it, obviously this doesnt affect the actual functions in any way, but it definately plays havoc with my OCD

Hello and sorry for the huge delay!

This <Super_l> key is generally reserved by the WM (Compiz/Unity, Gnome-Shell, etc.). Can you check that? You can have a look to your WM config or you can also launch the dock from a terminal and check if you see warning about this shortkey.
