Confirmed. I see the resize gripper in Natty running Ubuntu Classic, too, with cairo-clock version 0.3.4-1ubuntu1.

I just upgraded to natty and the second hand in the clock is jumping back and forward about 15 secs every second and the clock face and rim are flickering. I also see the resize gripper to the lower right.

Have both issues. The workaround for the second hand 15 second jump back on my system is to turn the animation smoothness all the way down to rough.
