bzr-explorer makes the system unusable after clicking the customization button

Bug Description

I am on Ubuntu12.10 Quantal 64bit.

Using the bzr-exlorer -> Setup and peronalize Bazaar -> clicking the custimization button ; makes the system unusable.

The harddrive starts with heavy load and no further mouse or keyboard interactions are possible with the whole system.

The xorg server crashed afterwards.

Reproducing:

1.Install bzr-explorer
2.start bzr-explorer
3.Click the "Setup and peronalize Bazaar" button
4.click the customize button in there.
5.See the system get unusable as described.

Could you try opening a terminal and running:

export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0
bzr explorer

and see if the problem still continues?

I think this is a duplicate of bug #1005677. There is a problem with the new overlay scrollbars in Unity when running Qt apps.

Done. No xorg-server crash when using:

export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0
bzr explorer

and performing the reproducing procedure.

I have done a retest with the original reproducing steps.

The crash is still there and now identified by apport as xorg server crash, which is reported here:
