perl n_tty_read seems to deadlock in bugzilla3 checksetup_nondebian.pl

When using the perl script checksetup.pl from the bugzilla3 package with the '--reset-password' option the terminal hangs (it seems to deadlock, because there is no CPU activity anymore for the perl process) on waiting channel n_tty_read.

The terminal itself gives no prompt, because I've found bug #685284 I suspect that the hangup is not due to perl or bugzilla's checksetup.pl
