In ubuntu budgie 21.10 our raspi app provided two remote desktop solutions - RDP and VNC.
This was achieved through a scripted install and configuration method invoked from an application only visible when running ubuntu budgie on a raspi pi i.e. ARM processor.
The VNC option utilised gnome-remote-desktop to achieve the VNC remote desktop solution.
Post Ubuntu 22.04 freeze, sync'd from debian was a new gnome-remote-desktop package that dropped the VNC option that our PI app required.
Due to the beta freeze we stated in the changelog for v0.17.7 of the package that we were going to temporarily hide this now broken VNC option.
We would now like to reinstate VNC to resolve the regression. We have done this in such a way as to not impact what the user interacts with - i.e. doesnt require a UIFE. The previous scripted VNC install and configuration option has been reworked to replace gnome-remote-desktop with x11VNC.
This has been tested on the regular desktop ISO (does not show as expected), as well as on a ubuntu 22.04 PI image uplifted with ubuntu-budgie-desktop (shows the now expected two RDP and VNC options)

To clarify - the changes do not require any dependency changes - all changes are invoked (as previously) through the raspi pi specific app.
