btrfs-tools version is outdated

As it seems there is no active maintainer anymore of this package in Debian, btrfs-tools in Ubuntu is pretty outdated. 3.17.3 is out for a while, and 3.18 and 3.19 were released since then. As important features were included (better fsck tool, btrfs disk usage notably), and bugs fixed, it should be considered to update such an important thing.

I released test versions of 3.18 series in ppa:giroll/ppa and 3.19 series in ppa:kalon33/experimental-stuff.

Please consider it :)

Looks like there's a Debian maintainer to me https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/btrfs-tools. Though since Debian is currently in a freeze, no new versions have been uploaded.

I found a bug report which talked about packaging a newer version and uploading it to experimental though. I've attached a bug watch.

Yes, apparently there is a maintainer but package wasn't updated since the end of october by him, despite a lot of new versions came out since (6 or 7 to my mind)

but I didn't seen that bug report. Indeed he is willing to package new version, I just hoped that it would be integrated in Ubuntu before Vivid release.
