Bug Description
When burning a CD using Brasero and trying to start another instance of Brasero (to do cover design), both instances die (no brasero is running any more).
The result of this is that I am left with a half-written CD in the drive, and it CANNOT BE EJECTED. I cannot kill brasero because it is not running. The CD cannot be unmounted, because it is not mounted in the first place. It cannot be ejected by pressing the button on my computer. It cannot be ejected by right-clicking on the device in nautilus and selecting eject. It cannot be ejected by opening a terminal and typing "eject -r". Even after running "echo 0 > /proc/sys/
Further more, when selecting system -> shut down... and then RESTART (last resort), the computer WOULD NOT RESTART. Instead I get logged out to GDM. Selecting restart in GDM worked, but but this entire process left me as an unhappy user.
The unability to eject CDs from Linux was a MAJOR NUISANCE TEN YEARS AGO. It must be fixed soon.
(eject -r said "eject: unable to eject, last error: Input/output error")
