Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

I've tried to burn some data using brasero and got a lot of errors saying "BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using ....", e.g. :
...
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _XRES000.00;1 for .hawran/.Xresources.090921.00 (.Xresources.090902.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using NEW_F000.;1 for .hawran/new file (new file~)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _ALIA000.00;1 for .hawran/.aliases.100118.00 (.aliases.100128.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _ALIA001.00;1 for .hawran/.aliases.100128.00 (.aliases.090902.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _CCM_000.00;1 for .hawran/.ccm.ini.091019.00 (.ccm.ini.100107.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _CCM_001.00;1 for .hawran/.ccm.ini.100107.00 (.ccm.ini.091112.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _PROF000.00;1 for .hawran/.profile.091012.00 (.profile.091009.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using _CCM_002.00;1 for .hawran/.ccm.ini.091112.00 (.ccm.ini.091105.00)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using GNOME000 for .hawran/.gconf/apps/gnome-screenshot (gnome-screensaver)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using GNOME001 for .hawran/.gconf/apps/gnome-settings (gnome_settings_daemon)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using OBJEC000 for .hawran/.gconf/apps/panel/objects/object_15 (object_14)
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Using OBJEC001 for .hawran/.gconf/apps/panel/objects/object_14 (object_11)
...

and the process finished as follows:
...
BraseroGrowisofs stderr: Unable to sort directory hawran/.local/share/gvfs-metadata
BraseroGrowisofs called brasero_job_error
BraseroGrowisofs finished with an error
BraseroGrowisofs asked to stop because of an error
  error = 16
message = "An image could not be created"
BraseroGrowisofs stopping
BraseroGrowisofs got killed
Session error : An image could not be created (brasero_burn_record brasero-burn.c:2808)

What is wrong?

PS I'd say that the first bunch of errors is something related to "renaming unix-like names to windows usable ones', which is strange as I had chosen "NOT to rename for using in windows" before the process has started ...
