Comment 12 for bug 501207

I am having this same issue with a Pioneer DVR-218l SATA DVD Writer on Karmic 9.10

I am unable to:

- Rip an Audio CD (Sound-juicer crashes or doesn't find the CD)
- Mount an Audio CD without crashing Nautilus
- Burn an Audio CD with Brasero

However, once the CD is in and nautilus has crashed, I can play it with VLC (using the Play Disc option under file).

Please let me know what I can do to help get this fixed. I rip tons of CD for my MP3 player and NEED this to work.
