Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

I'm running Mythbuntu 9.04 with a Ubuntu 9.04 desktop.
I cannot figure out how to configure either one to get it to recognize my DVD/CD unit.
I had run Ubuntu 9.04 on a another drive with this same DVD unit and was able to get it running without to much trouble.
A hardware mgr program shows the path to be /dev/scd0, I've tried that, /dev/sr0, cdrom0 and everything else I could think of.
I need to know how to configure this Mythbutu/Ubuntu system to recognize my DVD.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/brasero

ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: brasero
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic i686

I do appreciate your help in resolving my issue with Mythbuntu 9.04, I have
since reformated
my hard drive to XP Pro and quit fighting it. Maybe the next time I try
Mythbuntu I will have
more success.

Thanks Again
Grego
