Binary package hint: brasero

After upgrading from Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10, burning discs with Brasero fails. Brasero is still able to erase CD-RW, but burning fails before it actually even starts.

Upgraded to 9.10 from 9.04 ran into all kinds of problems (fortunately I find humor in the software development process). Trying to burn an ISO to CD or DVD+RW and I am told "Please insert a recordable CD or DVD" when right clicking the ISO and selecting "Write to Disc..." I have two identical optical drives, one with a blank CD-R, one with a blank DVD+RW.
This happens on both my home-build work station and my System76 Pangolin Performance notebook.

Attempted "brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt" but I get a segmentation fault on both systems. Attaching brasero-debug.txt regardless.
