Bug Description

With Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty I have problem. When I insert CD or DVD, my desktop disappears!
Nautilus doesn't work and I can only play movies (kaffeine/totem), but I can't burn CD/DVD.
Of course, when I logout and login again, all works.. (if there aren't any CD in CD-station).
I wrote about it on ubuntuforums.org too - http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=7141803

affects: ubuntu → brasero (Ubuntu)
Changed in brasero (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

Chris,

I'm not registered to post on the forums.

The easiest workaround is install nautilus-cd-burner. This has the
side-effect of un-installing two brasero packages, and fixes the
disappearing desktop problem.

We'll be able to re-install brasero when the problem is fixed, although
right now I don't see any big advantages to it.

Hope this helps,

Steve
