Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

Using Ubuntu 8.10, 32 bit and Brasero 0.8.2. Anytime I attempt to copy a DVD it correctly identifies the drives (Panasonic DVR-111D and DVR-216) and finds the source data but the COPY button remains greyed out. It will not burn to an image file either.

The copy worked fine by right clicking on the disk icon and selecting copy on the desktop.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/brasero
Package: brasero 0.8.2-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games
 LANG=en_AU.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: brasero
Uname: Linux 2.6.27-7-generic i686

This time, running Brasero from the command line, it worked although there was a "mounting" error on completion of burning.
