Bug Description
Binary package hint: brasero
brasero documentation lacks instructions for setting temp directory
brasero documentation needs to mention temp dir properties are set for all projects from burn or copy projects only
Brasero opens with 5 Project Option buttons presented -
a) Audio Project
b) Data Project
c) Video Project
d) Disc Copy
e) Burn Image
The properties for d and e are applied to a, b, and c, without clear indication that is how braseros dialogues operate.
This is particularly a problem in relation to the temp files location property.
some problems would be worked around if the documentation mentioned the quirk that you cant install brasero, go straight to a, b, or c, and have temp files written to anywhere but the default location.
Once you go to option d or e and set tempdir from the dialogue triggered by the properties button, you can set the tempdir and it applies to options a, b, and c above. also, anytime after that you can edit the tempdir by navigating to that dialogue, or by using gconf-editor and searching for the keys for "/apps/
Until you go to the properties dialogue under d or e above, you cant use gconf to edit the temp directory used by brasero.
adding some or all the above info to the brasero documentation would make brasero easier to use.
the lack of above is a documentation bug for brasero
fixing this doco bug might help other users who have problems in future such as repeat cases of problems like these :

I have ubuntu intrepid installed.
brasero 0.8.4 on ubuntu intrepid 8.10 with kernal updated to 2.6.27-9-generic
This bug applied to brasero 0.8.2 and I have since loaded 0.8.4 and it has the same weakness.
