Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
1)lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Rekease: 8.04
2)apt-cache policy rhythmbox
0.11.5-0ubuntu8
3) Once CD burning begins I expect it to not have to go through two steps with two seperate progress bars and instead be able to convert and record on the fly. Also I expect that if I have a multicore or multicpu system it will use both processors to convert the audio.
4) CD burning is done in two seperate steps. One to convert the music. One to write it to the CD. The audio conversion uses only 1 CPU/core.
CDs on my system would burn twice as fast if these fixes were made. I'm sure there are quite a few people who expect the burning process to go quicker.

Thank you for your bug report, that's an upstream wishlist and the current ubuntu desktop team doesn't have the ressources to work on such changes, you might want to sent the bug on bugzilla.gnome.org directly
