Bug Description
On Ubuntu 16.04, burning an ISO with brasero
What I expect to happen:
The disc ejects automatically after the burn process completes.
What happens instead:
Brasero prompts me to eject the disc manually with the error:
"Please eject the disc from "PLDS DVD+-RW DU-8A5HH" manually.
The disc could not be ejected though it needs to be removed for the current operation to continue."
Manually removing the disc does not make the prompt go away. I waited for about 5 minutes and clicked on "Cancel" and got another error:
Error while burning.
SCSI error on write(1868432,16): [3 0C 00] Medium error. Write error.
The DVD was written however and could be read on other computers. I have attached screenshots of both error dialogs and the brasero log.
