Bug Description

Binary package hint: bootchart

The processes bootchart and gzip take up all remaining processor power after each boot and the system is unbearably slow until bootchart is stopped or terminated.

I also see this with linuxmint 17.2 (latest).
bootchart took all my memory and more so that it started using swap space.
Had to kill manually.

What's the point of a bootchart program that takes all of the CPU itself ?
