Bug Description
Binary package hint: bootchart
I am using Ubuntu in a virtual machine (KVM) and have linux-image-virtual installed. The system boots in 10 - 15 seconds, the login needs 5 - 10 seconds, but bootchart reports a time of 52 seconds for booting. Except collector nothing is started or doing something in the last 35 seconds (bootchart image attached).

Confirming. If we currently can't determine when the desktop is usable (idle), there shouldn't be a "time" field in the chart. A lot of people get shocked by the high time their systems now need to boot when in fact it's just bootchart that runs longer than before.
