Bug Description

Binary package hint: bookmarkbridge

When syncing konqueor and firefox, I get the error:

XML Document "" Does not exist.
The error occurred on line 295 of xmlparser.cpp

To re-produce (from first run):

* Click settings -> add... and add "Mozilla Browser" and "Konqueror"

* Add mozilla and konqueror to both the source and destination browser lists.

* Click Merge.

Yes. I now use version 0.76 beta from Feisty Fawn Ubuntu repos.

I narrowed down the problem by removing all entries except konqueror. Even after I removed all bookmarks in konqueor I still get the problem. I removed them because there were some non-standard links there, e.g. to a bluetooth device and one to a SMB share.

The error is when I click the view button. I get a dialog with a red X in circle error icon, and the text:

Xml Document Does Not Exist

and the details button reveals:

The error occurred on line 304 of xmlparser.cpp

The error mssage has changed, but it still fails (version: 0.76-2ubuntu1 from gutsy repos)

Procedure:

1. In the Settings dialog, add one instance of Firefox, and one instance of konqueror.

2. Add firefox to the source list (if it's not already there)

3. Add konqueror to the destination list

4. Press "Merge..." button.

I get an error dialog box, (see attached screenshot).
